OBITUARY
ANNA MARIA KRAMER
Buck Lake, Alberta

Mrs. Anna Maria Kramer, mother of seven children, passed away quietly at her home at Buck Lake, on March 16th last.

Born in Friesenheim, Germany, on January 29th, 1869, Anna Maria Seger emigrated to Omaha, Nebraska in 1893 where she married Jacob Kramer who, as a child, had emigrated from Austria. Her husband predeceased her on April 12, 1956.

The couple moved to Canada, in 1903, settling at Hobbema in the Wetaskiwin area, until 1931 when they moved to Buck Lake, where they resided until the time of their deaths.

Anna Maria Kramer is survived by four sons, Victor of Heisler, Joseph of Hobbema, Paul and Ernest of Buck Lake; three daughters—Hedrine, Mrs. Blanche Stewart, and Mrs. Clara Mitchell, all of Buck Lake.

She also leaves to mourn her loss, one sister, Pauline Kemp of Friesenheim, Germany, four daughters-in-law, twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren, together with numerous friends.

Requiem High Mass was sung by Father G. M. Latour as celebrant with Father A. Paradis as Deacon and Father Guy Voisin as Sub-deacon, in the Honnema Church and interment was in the Wetaskiwin cemetery. Baker’s funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

May her soul rest in peace.
